Overview
Hitech have been competing in F4 since 2022, with success across various championships including 2 x Drivers titles in 3 years in British F4 and multiple wins in UAE and Spain.
As a Chief Mechanic across Hitech’s F4 programmes, the role includes ensuring the race cars and equipment are built to the highest standards. The role requires liaising with the Team Manager and Chief Engineer on a regular basis to ensure all work required is carried out and deadlines met. Willingness to travel and flexibility with scheduling is important.
Responsibilities- Generate job lists and supervise a team of mechanics across four cars.
- Ensure spare parts and equipment are maintained and set up/pack down at event runs smoothly.
- Maintain a hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Coordinate with the Team Manager and Chief Engineer to ensure work is carried out and deadlines are met.
- Travel as required and maintain scheduling flexibility.
