Site Security Manager

Job Summary

Security Site Manager to lead security operations at a national defence contractor facility in Towcester.

• Pay: £18.00 per hour
• Hours:
  
  42 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 2:00pm)

• Lead, develop and support a professional security team
• Manage day‑to‑day security operations and service delivery
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with security, health and safety, and site procedures
• Manage recruitment, training and performance of staff
• Conduct investigations, audits and risk assessments
• Deliver operational reporting and drive continuous improvement
• Provide out‑of‑hours management support for incidents and operational escalations

• Proven experience in a security management or site leadership role
• Valid SIA licence
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities
• Experience working within a high security, defence, critical infrastructure or regulated environment
• Strong understanding of risk management, compliance and operational performance
• Financial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs
• Ability to remain calm, professional and decisive under pressure
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Minimum 5‑year checkable employment history

• British citizen
• Held a British passport for a minimum of five years
• Eligible to obtain and maintain the required level of security clearance for the position
