We are seeking an experienced DCL & GUI Script Developer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong scripting, SQL, and troubleshooting skills who enjoys working with complex systems and supporting business‑critical applications.

You will be responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining Interactive DCL and GUI scripts, diagnosing technical issues, and working with the PROMIS application to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

• Develop, maintain, and support Interactive DCL scripts.
• Develop and support GUI scripts.
• Troubleshoot and debug undocumented DCL and GUI files.
• Write and optimise SQL queries.
• Create and maintain Data Link queries, including complex sorts and joins.
• Support and administer the PROMIS application.
• Create and move lots within PROMIS.
• Change and manage equipment states.
• Investigate system issues and distinguish between Sector7 software defects and inherent system limitations or failures.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve application issues and implement improvements.

• Proven experience developing and supporting Interactive DCL scripts.
• Experience working with the PROMIS application, including:
  • Creating and moving lots.
  • Changing equipment states.
  • Building Data Link queries, sorts, and joins.
• Strong understanding of Sector7 bugs versus inherent system limitations and failures.
• Experience debugging undocumented DCL files.
• Good SQL knowledge.

• Experience developing and supporting GUI scripts.
