Founded in 1976 as an independent, coeducational school, Westminster Christian Academy provides a comprehensive college preparatory program for 970 students in grades 7 through 12. The school is located in suburban St. Louis County, Missouri, on a 70-acre campus, 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.

Westminster Christian Academy honors Jesus Christ by providing an excellent education, rooted in biblical truth as interpreted by the Westminster Confession of Faith, for the children of Christian parents. Faculty and staff enable students to discover and embrace a biblical view of the world and integrate that view into every area of life.

As part of the Business & Communications team, the Upper School Business Teacher will use a project-based curriculum to develop students’ problem solving and innovation skills in the fields of general business, accounting and economics. The Business Teacher will work with a small team to develop innovative approaches for teaching the content area. The course load will include three unique preps.

Qualifications

• A clear testimony of a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ
• Membership or faithful attendance at an approved Protestant church congregation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education or Business
• Ability to collaborate well with colleagues
• Ability to work well independently
• Passion to integrate the curriculum with Christianity
• Strong professional or collegiate references
• Experience in secondary school setting preferred

In order to complete the application process, candidates must also have:

• Two professional references submit our Faculty Candidate Evaluation on their behalf
• One Pastor Reference submitted on their behalf
