Pay Rate: $23.00 hour

The printing operator receives, prints and sorts incoming electronic standard and custom orders.

• Receives, prints and sorts incoming electronic standard and custom orders.
• Locates and pulls archived proof sheets and matches to incoming orders.
• Locates electronic order files and aligns to appropriate art templates, making minor adjustments as needed.
• Outputs electronic file to appropriate plate making equipment.
• Groups orders by stock, ink, color and quantity to ensure maximum printing efficiency and delivers to press-line.
• Prints proof of electronic file and files for future orders.
• Replenish, chemicals, plate material as needed.
• Trouble shoot plate making equipment, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• HS Diploma or GED
• Experience:
  
  Prior experience working with computers to manipulate and organize electronic files;
  Prior experience with graphic arts programs preferred. Prior experience operating a MAC computer preferred, specifically Freehand and Illustrator programs.
• Skills:
  
  Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills; strong organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Abilities:
  Ability to perform work with a high level of accuracy; detail oriented; ability to handle multiple priorities;
  Ability to work effectively in a diverse, team environment.
