Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a growing, multi-location operating business to identify a Staff Accountant to join its team in the Towson, MD area. This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants exposure to core accounting functions while growing alongside a business that is expanding and evolving its financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily accounting activities and help ensure accurate financial records
• Assist with payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes
• Help with month‑end and year‑end close tasks and financial reportingli>
• Work with internal teams to provide clarity on financial data
• Contribute to process improvements and support ad hoc financial projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 1+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data
• Detail‑oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams
• Coachable and eager to grow in a scaling, multi‑location business
