Secondary Market & Mortgage Ops Manager - VP

Position Summary

This role combines leadership of the secondary mortgage market activities with oversight of mortgage operations. The manager is responsible for pricing, rate lock management, loan sales, investor delivery, and operational efficiency across the mortgage lifecycle. The position ensures compliance with investor and regulatory standards, optimizes profitability, and drives process improvements to support origination and servicing teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of mortgage banking experience, including secondary marketing and operations leadership.
  • Strong understanding of investor requirements, agency programs (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), and mortgage compliance.
  • Proficiency in loan origination systems and pricing engines (e.g., Encompass, Optimal Blue).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
