The RCR Wealth Advisors team is seeking a passionate Senior Wealth Planning Associate to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for crafting thoughtful financial plans and delivering personalized wealth management advice. The Senior Wealth Planning Associate will need to be comfortable taking a leadership role as our team strives to take our financial planning services to the next level.

What you are good at:

  • Financial Planning Expertise - Possesses deep knowledge of financial planning concepts and tools, with the ability to analyze client data and build customized, goal-based plans.
  • Communication –Providing excellent verbal and written services to clients, including prompt, accurate, and timely attention to detail. Able to compose effective employee correspondence in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Detail Oriented & Driven – Thorough and rigorous attention to all details;
    Ability to manage multiple high-touch projects simultaneously with precision and accuracy;
    Takes initiative and ownership in all aspects of role from logistics to processes and is unafraid to get their hands dirty and eager to learn
  • Team-Oriented – Must be comfortable collaborating with team members and other departments across the organization.
  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking Thorough and resourceful problem solver with a solutions‑based approach to every situation;
    Proactively takes on challenges with optimism and a helpful attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Act as lead resource in complex planning topics such as tax mitigation, asset location, estate strategies, equity compensation, social security, distribution planning, charitable giving, etc.
  • Participate in client meetings and deliver advice to clients
  • Coordinate with other members of the team to make sure planning information is gathered, filed, and uploaded into Money Guide effectively.
  • Serve as an expert in financial planning topics and trends. Stay current on tax law, estate regulations, and capital market trends
  • Contribute to monthly financial planning marketing posts related to personal finance and financial planning.
  • Provide clients with investment advice based on team guidelines and asset allocation strategies tailored to the risk profile and investment objectives of the client

What you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning/investment management
  • Expert knowledge in financial planning topics, concepts, and strategies. For example, tax planning, retirement distribution planning, Medicare, social security, gifting, charitable planning, asset location, asset allocation, tax efficient investing.
  • Demonstrate advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong interest in financial planning and investment management
  • Advanced knowledge and hands on experience using financial planning software (Ideally Money Guide)
  • Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66) required.
  • CFP designation preferred but not required.

The compensation package for this position consists of a base salary, (with eligibility for an annual bonus/commission if applicable) as well as eligibility to participate in all company benefits offered by Janney to full‑time employees including health, dental, medical coverage, disability income protection, life insurance, PTO/vacation, holidays, 401(k), and Employee Ownership Program.

The salary range for this position will be $75,000 to $150,000 with potential for 10-20% annual bonus.

Total compensation packages at Janney are based on experience, skills, credentials, and geographical location, of each specific candidate.
