We are seeking a Part Time Personal Supports Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands‑on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
Support a young man in the Towson area with developing independence in his home and community. Assist with creating a budget, money management skills, and skills for future independent living. Help with getting to community activities and developing relationships. Assist with attending church on Sunday. Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.
This position is:
Sat 11a-3p with the possibility of hours on Sunday
4 hours/ week
The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with participation and exploration of the community
- Cultivating and expanding independent living skills
- Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
- Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationships
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Must have at least 2 years of driving experience
- Current driver’s license (not provisional) with less than 3 points on driving record
- Must be able to transport people supported as needed in personal vehicle
- Requires use of personal cell phone for mobile documentation and time keeping
Regular Base Rate is $22/hr
. There is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)
$500.00 Sign-On Bonus !!!
Pay Out Structure: $250 – First Day; $250 – after three months
(You must remain in the designated position for the time intervals specified above to qualify for the bonus payout. employee must complete at all onboarding and new hire trainings to be eligible for payout.)
