New Beginnings Behavioral Health Corp is a comprehensive substance abuse treatment facility located in Towson, Maryland. We are seeking to hire a licensed or certified counselor, therapist, or social worker. We would love someone to join our team who is eager to assist patients through their recovery process. Applicants must possess at the minimum one of the following licenses or certifications: ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGPC, LGSW.

Specific Duties:

-Implement structured interventions outlined in the Person-Centered Plan.

Provide first-responder crisis response.

-Research and propose natural and community support for people served.

-Provide support services in a manner that is safe, therapeutic, and free from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

-Case Management responsibilities (If assigned and monitored by Clinical Director).

-Ensure case management, supervision, and service notes are completed in a manner consistent with Federal, State, and the Agency’s, statutes, rules, and policies and procedures

-Maintain consistent communication with the Program Director regarding documentation, authorizations, consumer progress toward goals, and consumer satisfaction.

Qualifications

-Substance Abuse Board licensure or certification.

-Licensed or certified as an alcohol and drug counselor by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.

-Approved by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists; or

-Licensed, certified, or permitted under the Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of Maryland to provide substance abuse treatment.
