Job Overview

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Registered Nurse/RN for the Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric Unit in Towson, MD. The unit is a specialized inpatient facility for children and adolescents with co-occurring developmental and psychiatric disorders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably with children and adolescents on the Autism Spectrum. A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland is required.

• Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care.
• Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
• Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.
• Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff.
• Document and report patient progress to treatment team.

• Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland.
