Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Full-time Shift Available at Blakehurst Senior Living. Join a supportive team dedicated to enriching the lives of over 300 seniors on a 40‑acre campus near Baltimore.
Position: LPN (Full‑time Shift Available)
Schedule: Full‑time: 7 pm – 7:30 am (Every other weekend; Every other Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri)
Pay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour based on experience (evening/night shift differential included). Sign‑on bonus up to $2,500 paid in installments.

Blakehurst seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. You will work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high‑quality patient care. The LPN is responsible for overall nursing care/service on the shift, including accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls.
Primary Responsibilities- Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on shift.
- Administer direct care as necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications to patients.
- Make rounds to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
- Keep physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition.
- Assist in developing comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain the self‑respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered.
- Respond to resident emergency call system.
- Interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
- Accompany physicians when making rounds.
- Encourage restorative care to obtain maximum resident independence.
- Participate in family/resident counseling, as necessary.
- Assist with the orientation and evaluation of nursing personnel.
- Attend in‑service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Assure proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies.
- Licensed in the State (LPN). Must have current CPR certification.
- At least 6 months of nursing experience in a long‑term care setting preferred.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Ability to work well in teams.
All new hires must pass our pre‑employment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test, and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some roles also require us to ask about vaccination status.
