Position Title:

Geriatric Nursing Assistant - Full-Time and Part-Time Shifts Available

Pay: $19 - 24 / hour (Based on experience)

Full-Time Shift 11pm-7:30am, Every other Mon, Fri, & Weekend;
Every Tues, Wed, & Thurs

Full-Time Shift 11pm-7:30am, Every other Mon, Wed, Fri;
Every other Tues, Thurs

& Weekend

Full-Time Shift 3pm-11:30pm, Every other weekend;
Every Mon, Tues, Wed, & Thurs

Full-Time Shift 7:00am-3:30pm, Every other weekend;
Every other Mon, Tues, & Thurs, Fri

Part-Time Shift 7:00am-3:30pm, Every other weekend

Part-Time Shift 3pm-11:30pm, Every other weekend

Part-Time Shift 11pm-7:30am, Every other Weekend

Blakehurst is recruiting for hospitality focused Geriatric Nursing Assistants to join our team.

Essential

Job Duties:

* Assist all residents with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, positioning, turning, exercising, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.

* Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat.

* Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.

* Communicate to residents, families, Department Leaders, and the Director of Nursing when needed.

* Provide activities as planned and/or directed.

* Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

* One (1) year experience working as a GNA.

* Must be on the Maryland Board of Nursing State Registry.

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
