2+ years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience; 2+ years experience working with stroke patients License:
Active RN License

Certifications:

Active American Heart Association BLS, Active NIHSS Must-Have:
Candidate must be willing to complete a 48-hour compliance check after being offered the position. Candidate must be willing to take Telemetry patients as needed. Candidate must have active NIHSS Certification upon submission. Candidate must be willing to take mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered. Candidate must be willing to take Basic EKG and score 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered.

Flu vaccination is required; declinations will not be approved. COVID vaccination is required; declinations will not be approved and must be state-recorded. Candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be accepted and must be willing to work the facility's schedule. Previous travel experience is required. Locals are accepted, with no rate change. Profile requirements include a cover page, resume, and two supervisory references.

Skills checklist must be specific to Med Surg.

Description:

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients. Care is delivered in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. The candidate is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by themselves or others under their direction. The role utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and provide appropriate care. Care is designed for the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
