Schedule: Full-time assignment with schedule determined by facility needs. Weekend and on-call requirements as assigned. Candidates must be available to work the facility's required schedule without restrictions.

• Specialize in stroke patient care within a medical-surgical/telemetry environment
• Utilize your expertise in patient assessment, care planning, and professional nursing practice
• Work with a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to quality patient outcomes
• Opportunity to apply advanced stroke assessment skills including NIHSS protocols
• Provide care across the physical and developmental spectrum appropriate to patient population
• Travel nursing experience preferred for this assignment

• Active Maryland RN license (verification must be current within 30 days)
• Minimum 2 years recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years documented experience working with stroke patients (must be clearly listed on resume)
• Active NIHSS Certification (completed via NIHStrokeScale.org) required at time of submission
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Willingness to accept telemetry patients as needed
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must complete mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered
• Must complete Basic EKG training and achieve score of 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered
• Current COVID-19 vaccination required (must be state recorded; declinations not accepted)
• Current Flu vaccination required (declinations not accepted)
• Resume with all employment gaps over 30 days clearly explained
• Two supervisory references: one from the last 6 months and one from the last 12 months
• Discipline-specific skills checklist (Medical-Surgical)
