** The Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Unit
** is a specialized inpatient unit for the psychiatric evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of adults with co-occurring developmental and psychiatric disorders. This is a 6-bed unit that offers a behavioral approach to care for these dually diagnosed adults.

What to expect.
* Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans.
* Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
* Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.
* Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff.
* Document and report patient progress to treatment team.

The pay range for this position is **$37.08 minimum to $56.83 maximum**. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

What we need from you.
* Must possess a
** current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland** (or compact state) at time of appointment and continuously while in position.
* Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred but not necessary.
* A passion for working with Adults on the Autism Spectrum.
* All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
