Job Requirements
- Manage patients on the hospitalist service overnight.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff, overnight nocturnist physician, and other providers.
- Attend any rapid responses, Code Blue, Code Green calls to areas covered to provide information to the team.
- Document interventions and evaluations in the medical record.
- Communicate timely with the overnight physician and on-coming day time providers
- Graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program (required)
- Active Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (required)
- Active Maryland ACNP/AGACNP/PA License (required)
- Active, unrestricted CDS and DEA license (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Current ACLS certification (preferred)
