Hourly rate: $15.90 – $15.90

Job Responsibilities- Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
- Safely use a variety of utensils, including knives.
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
- Use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods (bake, roast, broil, steam).
- Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, co‑workers, etc.
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including accurate food safety and sanitation.
- Ensure security of company assets.

Qualifications- Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
- Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
- Must be able to acquire a food safety certification.
- Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
- Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
