Assistant Grocery Manager – Dairy and Frozen Foods. The Fresh Market seeks a team member who will help deliver an extraordinary everyday eating experience for our guests.

As the Assistant Grocery Manager for Dairy and Frozen Foods, you will assist the Center Store (Grocery) Manager with managing department inventory, pricing integrity, training, and other operational processes that require significant attention to detail. This is a fast-paced role that requires efficiency, effectiveness, and a commitment to excellence to drive results while ensuring an impeccable guest and team member experience.

Pay range: $18.86 – $23.58 per hour.

• Coordinate the ordering of products for the dairy, frozen foods, beer and wine, and VMS areas with the Center Store (Grocery) Manager
• Greet guests and proactively assist them with accurate and timely information
• Make recommendations and accommodate requests
• Manage order guides, ordering deadlines, and reduce shrink/damage
• Properly receive and stock goods with rotation standards when replenishing product levels
• Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members on-the-job and through The Fresh Markets internal training platform to provide excellent guest service in a safe and secure manner

This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

At a minimum, what you’ll need

• 3+ years of experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be at least 18 years of age
