We are seeking a highly motivated Shift Lead to oversee store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Base Pay Range

$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Customer Experience
  • Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
  • Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members.
Operations
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store in the absence of store management, including required systems start-ups, cash handling, and preparing floor and stock room.
  • Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers.
  • Registers all sales on assigned cash register, records scanning errors, price verifications, voids, etc.
  • Assists with and coaches team members on the warehouse and vendor ordering process, including backdoor access for deliveries.
  • Assists manager or assistant manager with order exceptions, reverse logistics, and merchandising displays.
  • Maintains accurate inventory counts and ensures compliance with the Outdate program.
  • Responsible for basic department pricing, daily price changes, signage, and local regulation compliance.
  • Assists with bookkeeping activities: cash report, cash counts, ledgers.
  • Assists with exterior and interior maintenance, requests repairs.
  • Assists with food item separation and stock rotation using FIFO method.
  • Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
  • Assists at Pharmacy out window as requested.
  • Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Responsible for bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
  • Maintains respectful relationships with coworkers and complies with company policies.
  • Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
  • Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager.
Communications
  • Serves as a liaison between management and non-management team members when store management is absent.
  • Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
Basic Qualifications
  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Considered for employment with arrest and conviction records.
  • Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
