Lab Technician

Home Land Labs is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Towson-based team. This is a unique opportunity to work in both our Mold and Water Divisions at the only laboratory in the Baltimore area certified for mold analysis by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).

• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Environmental Health
• Previous lab experience in environmental chemistry preferred
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with lab safety protocols and quality standards

• Analyze mold and water samples following SOP, Quality, and Safety Manuals
• Input data and generate reports using our Lab Information Management System (LIMS)
• Perform daily/monthly quality assurance checks
• Prepare, retain, and dispose of samples properly
• Communicate results and findings to clients

• Mold collection and mitigation
• Water chemistry and microbiology
• EPA, MDE, and AIHA protocols
• Quality assurance and lab safety practices
