Surveillance Security Officer

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Towson, MD. This role requires sharp observation skills to monitor security systems and respond quickly to potential threats.

• Overnight only (10:45 pm–6:45 am, days may vary)

• Monitor security systems and detect suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED; provide documentation
• Pass extensive screening process
• Strong report‑writing skills
• Excellent visual attention and concentration
• Proficiency with technology
• Prior security, military, or law‑enforcement experience a plus
• 21 years or older
• Availability to work weekends
• Comfortable with walking, standing, sitting, and stair climbing
• Active security license or ability to obtain one
• Driver's license may be required for some positions
