Full Stack Developer, Washington DC/Remote

Our client, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a remote, contract-to-hire opportunity.

Work is currently remote with potential plans to return to the office safely in the fall.

Our client is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will focus on designing and implementing the client's software platforms, applications, and features. You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, optimization, and delivery, utilizing the latest technologies.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, MIS, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering and development.
• 2+ years of back-end development experience with Java, Node.js, or Python.
• 2+ years of front-end development experience with React.js.
• Experience using Git/Git Hub, preferably contributing to open-source projects.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and drive to deliver high-quality software products.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.

• Experience with data science, machine learning, or natural language processing.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience developing software with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Open Shift.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
