We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Specialist to assist with daily shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and customer service. This position involves processing domestic and international shipments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting dock operations.
Responsibilities- Process domestic and international UPS shipments.
- Prepare shipping labels, customs paperwork, and tracking information.
- Coordinate freight shipments and communicate with carriers.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Assist with dock scheduling and shipping/receiving activities.
- Track deliveries and resolve shipping issues.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide shipment updates.
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word for daily tasks.
- Operate printers, copiers, postage machines, and other office equipment.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with UPS shipping, receiving, or logistics.
- Knowledge of freight shipping and carrier coordination.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license required (no driving duties).
Preferred:
Experience with inventory management, international shipping, customs documentation, or shipping software.
