Estimator – Water/ Wastewater Infrastructure

Location: Tracy, CA
Salary Range:$100,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)

An opportunity is available for an experienced
Estimator
specializing in
water, wastewater, and industrial construction
. The ideal candidate will have strong estimating experience within the
heavy civil sector
, preferably with at-risk, self-performing general contractors.

This role involves leading the estimating process for diverse infrastructure projects while collaborating closely with field operations, project management, and procurement teams to ensure competitive, accurate bids.

• Prepare
  contingency and risk analyses
  for pre-bid reviews and estimate validation

• Compile and analyze
  labor, material, and equipment cost data
  that impact project budgets

• Develop
  conceptual estimates
  based on limited drawings or preliminary project information

• Communicate bid details and cost breakdowns to
  field operations
  during pre-construction meetings

• Build and maintain
  strong relationships
  with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers to expand bid opportunities

• Ensure all take-off quantities, drawings, and specifications are
  accurate and consistent
  with project scope

• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree
  in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience)

• Proven experience in
  estimating within the water, wastewater, or heavy civil markets

• Skilled at
  interpreting drawings and technical specifications

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in
  self-perform estimating
  preferred

• Base Salary:$100,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
