Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Pre Op position requiring a CA RN license and ambulatory surgery/phase II experience within the past 2 years.

Details

Acute care hospital Pre Op unit with 81 staffed beds
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Uses EPIC charting system

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Minimum 3 years of RN experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Ambulatory surgery/phase II experience within the past 2 years required
EPIC charting experience required
2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required

Additional Information

Perform assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care and patient/family education
Deliver holistic and individualized care tailored to each patient
Develop and manage interdisciplinary care plans addressing psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors
Maintain collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers
Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
Free parking available in any unrestricted space
Returning travelers must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible to return
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
Holiday coverage includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
7-year work history verification required for all candidates
Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
