The New Home Consultant manages the new home purchase process from initial contact to closing, aiming to create a tickled, delighted and happy customer. Responsibilities include daily operations at Welcome Home Centers, processing sale agreements, and closing sales in line with company business plans.
Responsibilities- Engage and establish relationships with visitors to understand their home buying needs, utilizing the company's selling philosophy.
- Self-generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, including products, community features, and demographics.
- Provide consistent follow-through with customers from initial contact to post-closing, maintaining accurate communication records.
- Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs.
- Ensure the maintenance of Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes.
- Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and real estate license preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in homebuilding or real estate sales preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales‑tracking tools.
- Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Regular, in‑person attendance at Company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours is essential. This is primarily an active position involving office/phone work and walking in all weather conditions, on uneven surfaces, and within homesites. A valid state driver’s license is required. Finger dexterity is required for computer and telephone use. Ability to lift and carry supplies and materials up to 25 pounds.
Compensation& Benefits
Base compensation expected to range from an hourly rate of $23–$23.08, subject to adjustment based on qualifications, location, and business factors.
