Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary:

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and facilities to ensure continuous and safe operation. This role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) on production and facility equipment
• Diagnoses mechanical and electrical issues and implements repairs
• Troubleshoots and repairs/replaces motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment
• Uses hand and power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments
• Reads and interprets technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Supports installation and setup of new equipment or machinery
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and inputs data into AMMS
• Follows all safety procedures including Fall Protection, Hot Work, Confined Space, and Lockout/Tagout

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable working in noisy, dusty, or hot and cold environments
