WAREHOUSE TRANSLOADER role at United States Cold Storage, Inc.
Job SummaryThe Transloader prepares product for movement, loads/unloads product into/out of trailers, checks product into an inventory system, stacks, manually counts product, and handles other dock-related duties using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, RF equipment, forklifts, clamp trucks, and slip sheets. The Transloader operates equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities- Shipped & Receive – unload and load trailers, verify proper stacking, tape or stretch‑wrap pallets as needed.
- Check Product – before storage, count all product, compare to driver’s manifest, inspect shipments for damage, infestation, and proper code dates; report shortages, damages, and misplacements to supervisor; confirm receipt temperature.
- Over/Short & Damage – report shortages and overages to area supervisor.
- Inventory – assist with physical inventories using scanners.
- Loading – move product from staging areas into railcars or trailers efficiently.
- Operate Equipment – load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using forklifts, clamp truck, slip‑sheet, or other powered equipment.
- Maintain – keep working areas, equipment, and materials neat, clean, and orderly; inspect equipment before work starts.
- Communicate issues or safety concerns with supervision.

Warehouse Supervisor - Job Type: Full‑Time, FLSA Non‑Exempt
- Shift: M‑F 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Salary Range: $19.95 – $27.00 per hour
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum 6 months experience with forklifts and related powered industrial equipment.
- Good arithmetic, reading, data entry skills.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods; see, speak, and hear.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and use RF equipment; ability to work in temperatures from +50 F to –30 F.
- Follow safety procedures and verbal/written instructions.
- Work independently and coordinate with others; manage stress and productivity guidelines.
