Overview
- Over 4,000 Full‑Time Associates across the Supply Chain
- 14.5M square feet of small parcel, personalization, furniture, and manufacturing space across the domestic US
- Large package / furniture distribution centers located in Southern California, Northern California, Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey totaling 9.2M sqft plus additional 1.2M sqft of standalone final‑mile furniture hubs
- Small package eCommerce distribution centers located in Mississippi and Arizona totaling 3.2M sqft, consisting of over 1,000 full‑time associates and 1,500 seasonal/temporary associates in Mississippi
- Sutter Street Manufacturing upholstery factories located in North Carolina and Mississippi totalling over 1,400 full‑time employees producing approximately $900M to $1B in sales of upholstered furniture
- Transportation Department for Ocean, Air, Trucking, and Rail consisting of over 30 transportation professionals located in Memphis, TN
- 700 associates in our Sourcing offices in 10 countries in Asia and Europe including China, Vietnam, Singapore, India, Italy, and Turkey
The Material Handler position is located in Tracy, CA.
Responsibilities- Inbound truck unloading and merchandise put away
- Product movement from the receiving dock to put away and deluxing floor
- Deluxing of all outbound furniture pieces prior to delivery to ensure no damages and all parts are included for first quality
- Assist drivers with load and assemblies when needed
- Keep work area safe and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 6 months of distribution center experience
- HUBM Radio Frequency (RF) knowledge – tasking, fluid loading, locating cases, etc.
- Radio Frequency (RF) scanner experience
- Able to safely lift, push or pull at least 75 pounds throughout the day
