Lead mechanical and piping engineering for BBA in Trail, British Columbia, supporting heavy industry projects through design, field implementation, and client engagement.
This senior engineering role serves BBA’s Mechanical/Piping Engineering team in Trail. You will support energy, mining, and industrial projects while applying consulting experience, technical leadership, and strong communication. Work spans front-end studies, detailed design, field implementation, business development, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead mechanical scopes across studies and detailed engineering
- Develop scopes, budgets, methodologies, and proposals
- Perform mechanical and piping engineering calculations
- Support inspections, assessments, commissioning, and testing
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers through knowledge sharing
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Eight to twelve years of relevant engineering experience
- Eligibility for EGBC registration as a P.Eng.
- Industrial experience across mining, metals, energy, or pulp and paper
- Proficiency with mechanical and piping software
