Little Saints Childcare Centre, located hael's School, is seeking a certified ECE. Reporting to the School Principal, the ECE will facilitate high‑quality childcare and preschool experiences for children ages 2.5 – 5 years of age, in alignment with the philosophy of Little Saints Childcare Centre and the Catholic Diocese of Nelson. • Plan and implement consistent, high quality, age‑appropriate child‑centered programs
• Maintain neat, orderly, and clean activity areas
• Lead with enthusiasm and high energy
• Ensure provincial safety and supervision standards are maintained
• Abide by appropriate privacy and confidentiality requirements/legislation
• Have keen interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
• Competent in relationship building/collaboration and creating an environment of open communication
• Effectively build positive interactions and listen attentively with children and families
• Share information, best practices, and resources with colleagues
• Have the ability to work under minimal supervision
