Certified 3rd Class Power Engineer

Teck Resources Limited seeks a dedicated Certified 3rd Class Power Engineer for our Trail, BC operations. This on-site, full-time role focuses on operating boilers and ensuring production support.

In this position, you will report to the Shift Leader and work within a collaborative team environment. Key skills required include excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, alongside a strong understanding of safety regulations. The role emphasizes monitoring equipment and providing operational expertise to overcome process challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safety initiatives and uphold environmental procedures

• Monitor and inspect equipment for plant operations

• Resolve varying process conditions with operational expertise

• Offer production support while solving operational issues

• Initiate maintenance orders and adjust equipment as necessary

Requirements:

• Valid 3rd Class Power Engineer certificate

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• WHMIS certification proof required

• Experience with waste heat boilers preferred

• Good mechanical and computer skills
