Reporting directly to the Manager of Projects Metallurgy, you will be the technical authority in extractive metallurgy, managing both laboratory and plant-based metallurgical testing programs. This hybrid role involves enhancing geo-metallurgical models and collaborating with teams to improve operational efficiency. You'll ensure high-quality outputs while fostering innovation in metallurgical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion safety and adhere to health/environmental regulations
• Provide SME guidance for project metallurgical needs
• Define and implement best practices for cost-effective, reliable programs
• Oversee technical staff and coordinate test programs
• Deliver clear technical reports and presentations on metallurgical findings
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree, MSc/PhD preferred in Engineering
• Registered P.Eng. or eligible for registration
• 15+ years in extractive metallurgy and mineral processing
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
