Senior Metallurgist with Teck Resources

Reporting to the Manager, Project Metallurgy, you'll provide metallurgical support and technical mentorship while conducting metallurgical analyses and leading test work programs.

Your role is crucial for resource optimization and process evaluation, necessitating some domestic and international travel to site locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead metallurgical test work programs for new projects

• Conduct technical analyses and data interpretation

• Collaborate with geological teams for sample selection

• Develop process design criteria for project flow sheets

• Coordinate project activities within budget and schedule

Requirements:

• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with 8–10 years of experience

• Expertise in base and precious metal processing

• Construction and commissioning experience in mining projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite

• Spanish language skills are a plus
