Position: Full-Time Planner at RDKB

The RDKB is searching for a full-time Planner in their Planning and Development Department. This role includes processing current applications and provincial referrals, alongside answering planning queries from the public and development sector. Some flexibility in hours may be required to accommodate public engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process applications and provincial referrals efficiently

• Provide exceptional customer service for planning inquiries

• Assist with public engagement efforts when needed

• Collaborate with local developers and stakeholders

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of planning activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Planning or related field

• At least one year of planning office experience

• Eligible for membership in professional planning institutes

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and willing to learn new software

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
