Rural Adult Mental Health Professional

Take on a key role as a Casual Rural Adult Mental Health and Substance Use Worker at Kiro Wellness Centre in Trail, B.C. Focus on providing essential mental health assessments and treatments.

The position requires a candidate skilled in assessment and treatment grounded in a caring, relationship-focused approach. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment supporting adults grappling with significant mental health disorders, including depression and substance use. Your work will encompass crisis management, case coordination, and educational outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer intake assessments for treatment services

• Deliver urgent crisis interventions and support

• Oversee case management for client care

• Collaborate with other health professionals

• Provide psycho-education to clients and families

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in health, behavioral or social sciences

• Minimum two years experience in treatment environments

• Valid Class 5 B.C. driver’s license

• Strong interpersonal and assessment skills
