KBRH Chief of Staff Leadership Position

Make a significant impact at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital as the Chief of Staff. Provide strategic medical leadership to uphold patient care and drive clinical excellence.

As Chief of Staff, you'll report to the Senior Medical Director while working alongside the Executive Director of Clinical Operations. This role includes fostering physician engagement, managing medical staff initiatives, and participating in quality improvement efforts. Administrative duties can be complemented with clinical practice, broadening your impact in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver leadership to enhance operational and quality improvement goals

• Engage and develop medical staff for better performance

• Oversee recruitment and credentialing processes for healthcare professionals

• Ensure adherence to medical bylaws and conduct standards

• Partner with other leaders for accreditation and risk management

Requirements:

• Eligibility for Medical Staff privileges at KBRH

• Current BC licensure as a healthcare professional

• Preferred Master’s degree in health administration or a related field

• Minimum five years of progressive leadership in healthcare
