Role OverviewReporting to the Digital Information Systems Manager, the Business Systems Lead coordinates the intake, assessment, prioritization, and delivery of ERP-related work, including system issues, defects, enhancements, and audit activities. Acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders, internal support teams, external contractors, and auditors, the role ensures ERP requests are well understood, appropriately prioritized, and aligned with site operational and compliance priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
- Lead the intake, triage, and prioritization of ERP-related incidents, defects, enhancements, and audit requests to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership and technical guidance to internal IT staff and functional support teams delivering ERP services.
- Coordinate and assign ERP work to internal teams and external contractors, ensuring clear scope, expectations, and accountability for deliverables.
- Act as a primary point of contact between business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and auditors to ensure requirements, impacts, and timelines are well understood and effectively communicated.
- Ensure ERP work items are properly documented, tracked, and managed through established service management and work tracking tools.
- Monitor progress, dependencies, and risks across ERP initiatives, escalating issues and recommending solutions to meet operational and strategic priorities.
- Enforce governance, change management, and control processes to ensure ERP changes comply with organizational standards and audit requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external ERP‑related audit activities, including evidence collection, stakeholder engagement, and remediation planning.
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive IT experience, including demonstrated responsibility for coordinating work, leading initiatives, or providing informal or formal team leadership.
- Proven experience supporting, administering, or coordinating large, enterprise‑scale application systems (e.g., ERP or other business‑critical platforms).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence technical teams, including assigning work, setting priorities, mentoring team members, and holding resources accountable for outcomes.
- Experience working in a cross‑functional environment, partnering with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and third‑party vendors or consultants.
- Strong understanding of IT service management practices, including incident, problem, change, and release management, within an operational or regulated environment.
- Solid technical troubleshooting and analysis skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across applications, integrations, and underlying infrastructure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
- Experience supporting or participating in audit, compliance, or control activities within enterprise systems is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, make sound decisions under pressure, and align work execution with business and site priorities.

CAD $95,000 - $118,000 per year
The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
