As Group Superintendent, you'll report to the Production Superintendent and drive daily operations and maintenance activities. Your experience in the metallurgical industry will help you promote safety, implement training, and ensure compliance with production and quality standards. You'll actively manage plant performance, labor, and supply costs, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion safety and environmental compliance in all operations
• Ensure plant efficiency meets production and safety standards
• Implement training programs for team development
• Coordinate maintenance and production schedules
• Provide expert guidance on operating and metallurgical issues
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in a metallurgical industry
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Knowledge of Collective Agreements
• Strong communication and leadership skills
