Position: Emergency Registered Nurse at Interior Health

This part-time, permanent role in the Emergency Department demands independent nursing care for emergency patients and teamwork within an interdisciplinary team. Enhance patient and family quality of life through collaboration with health care providers. You will also focus on continuous improvement and maintain clinical competence through training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in emergency situations

• Collaborate with health care teams for optimal patient outcomes

• Engage in continuous improvement of nursing practices

• Maintain and enhance clinical competency

• Participate in hospital committees and research projects
Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Advanced preparation in Emergency nursing or equivalent

• CPR certification within 3 years

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 3 years
