Clinical Educator NICU

Position: Full-Time Clinical Educator for NICU
Enhance patient care in the NICU as a Clinical Practice Educator at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC. This full-time relief role focuses on leadership in nursing education and clinical standards.

In this position, you will provide critical support and educational resources to nursing staff in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Your leadership will facilitate the application of adult education principles and nursing processes to elevate care standards. Collaborate closely with management to create and sustain a quality improvement framework that leads to exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead nursing education initiatives for NICU staff

• Provide resources and support for clinical practice

• Assist management in maintaining quality care standards

• Engage in continuous quality improvement efforts

• Mentor staff on effective nursing processes and patient care

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Clinical Practice Educator
