Relational Security Officer

Interior Health is hiring a casual Relational Security Officer in Trail to ensure safety and security within their facilities. Engage in patrolling, surveillance, and emergency response to create a secure environment.

As a Relational Security Officer, you will uphold the organization's safety standards while identifying and mitigating security risks.

Your role includes maintaining logs, operating security systems, and providing support to medical staff in emergencies. Flexibility for 0 to 37.5 hours of work weekly allows you to adapt to fluctuating needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol premises and monitor via security systems

• Handle emergencies with timely actions

• Investigate disturbances and report findings

• Aid in securing patients and staff as needed

• Collaborate with law enforcement on security issues

Requirements:

• Valid BC Security Guard License with handcuff endorsement

• Minimum one year of related experience or equivalent training

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to manage related equipment

• Physically fit to perform security tasks
