Join Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital as a registered Social Worker in Trail, B.C. This role focuses on client advocacy, treatment coordination, and psychosocial care within an agile team.
The Social Worker position at KBRH is a temporary role until May 2027 or until the incumbent returns. You will provide holistic assessments and create tailored care plans while collaborating with various healthcare professionals. Your work directly impacts the well‑being of clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments for designated clients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for client care
- Facilitate informative counseling and group sessions
- Assist clients with system navigation and education
- Develop and implement effective social work services
- Must hold registered Social Worker designation
- Proven experience in direct psychosocial care
- Excellent advocacy skills and communication abilities
- Familiarity with community health resources
- Dedication to promoting wellness and work‑life balance
