You’ll work in a residential care setting, supporting children with day‑to‑day life, emotional well‑being, and general mentorship and support. You’ll:
Build positive relationships based on trust and respect
Encourage independence and daily routines
Support emotional regulation and behaviour management
Be a steady, caring presence — someone they can count on
6+ months of full‑time care experience (in the last 3 years)
At least 3 months’ experience working with children or young people (in the last 3 years)
Registration:
Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration (e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC). Not applicable in England.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
