About our group:
The Edge Datacenter Marketing group is responsible for enabling a successful go-to-market motion, with focus on customer acquisition, revenue growth, and profitability across the entire Edge portfolio. The team works cross-functionally to shape both current and future business strategies, driving Seagate’s leadership across all Edge Datacenter verticals.
Within this organization, the Recertified Products and Circularity focus area plays a critical role in extending product lifecycle, improving margin performance, and strengthening sustainability outcomes across the portfolio.
This role will collaborate closely with the Global Distribution Marketing team, who owns the 4
Ps—Product, Price, Placement, and Promotion—for Seagate’s distribution and downstream partner ecosystem. Given that recertified products flow heavily through distribution and downstream partners, this partnership is essential to maximizing market reach, profitable sell-through, and portfolio optimization.
Develop and lead the business strategy for the Recertified Product portfolio globally
- Build and manage the business plan for the recertified portfolio, aligning with Edge Datacenter strategy, revenue objectives, and gross margin targets.
- Size and assess market opportunity across APAC, developing a clear POV on TAM expansion, and executing the recertified sales strategy.
- Monitor competitive, technology, and sustainability trends influencing adoption of recertified solutions.
Define market requirements and shape the recertified product pipeline
- Consolidate regional customer insights and competitive data to influence recertified product roadmap, placement strategy, and allocations.
- Partner with CCSO & Product Management to translate field requirements into actionable product needs.
- Lead go-to-market planning and regional readiness activities for product launches or portfolio transitions.
Drive cross-functional alignment across Business, Sales, Rev Ops, and CCSO
- Collaborate with APAC Sales and Global Distribution Marketing to optimize placement, allocation, and portfolio mix across channels.
- Identify priority partners, routes, and customer segments to maximize reach and velocity of recertified offerings.
- Provide ongoing field intelligence to refine forecasting, demand planning, inventory lifecycle, and GTM strategy.
Develop pricing strategy and maximize profitability
- Create pricing models and guardrails that drive the highest GM$ contribution while ensuring competitiveness in the APAC market.
- Evaluate pricing and promotional levers in partnership with Finance, Rev Ops, and the Global Distribution team.
- Analyze price elasticity, sell-through data, and market behavior to continuously refine strategy.
Promote Seagate’s circularity value proposition across APAC
- Represent the Edge Datacenter and Recertified portfolio to customers and strategic partners.
- Build messaging and content that articulates Seagate’s sustainability and circularity commitments, product value, and differentiation.
- Support regional promotional programs, MDF activities, and partner marketing efforts to increase demand and adoption.

- Effective communication, customer-facing presentation, and executive storytelling abilities
- Strong analytical skills, strategic mindset, and comfort operating in matrixed environments
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, sustainability, or related field
- Acquired eligibility to work in APAC without sponsorship
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing, channel/segment marketing, business management, or GTM functions
- Demonstrated success in business planning, portfolio management, and cross-functional orchestration
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making
- Ability to influence stakeholders and translate market insights into clear business actions
- Experience working in a technology, hardware, storage, or circularity-related industry or role preferred
On site - Shugart, Singapore. Remote within APAC or a Seagate APAC office (e.g., Singapore, Malaysia, Australia) can be considered subject to eligibility to work in APAC without visa sponsorship
