Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Develop, write, and optimize CMM inspection programs using CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components.
- Validate and debug CMM programs to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with GD&T specifications.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and analyze measurement data for quality control.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve measurement discrepancies and improve part quality.
- Maintain CMM equipment, including routine calibration checks and basic troubleshooting.
- Select and design appropriate fixturing for efficient and accurate CMM part measurement.
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Strong understanding and practical application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and 3D models.
- Experience with various CMM hardware platforms and probe systems.
- Knowledge of metrology principles and measurement techniques for manufacturing.
- Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving related to measurement discrepancies.
- Proficiency in additional CMM software platforms (e.g., Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Experience with CAD modeling software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor) for fixture design or model manipulation.
- Demonstrated ability to perform advanced statistical analysis (SPC, MSA) of measurement data.
- Understanding of CMM calibration and preventative maintenance procedures.
