Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality defects and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor manufacturing processes using statistical process control (SPC) techniques and analyze data to identify trends.
- Manage non-conforming materials and facilitate disposition processes to minimize production impact.
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Collaborate with design and production teams to improve product quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Support supplier quality management activities, including supplier qualification, audits, and performance monitoring.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, 8D).
- Strong understanding and application of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for process control and improvement.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R).
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification.
- Experience with specific manufacturing processes relevant to the industry (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, welding, additive manufacturing).
