• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
• 2 years of recent and consecutive experience in a specialty area.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• For Critical Care Department positions:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) Certification.
• For Emergency Department positions:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) Certification.
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC).
• For NICU and Maternity Department positions:
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification.
• For Long Term Care, Home Health and Behavioral Health Department positions:
  • Fingerprinting Clearance.

Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
