Job Description
A Day in the Life
- An HME Tech I delivers equipment to the client’s home in a safe manner, setting it up and instructing on its operation and use. They rotate through an on‑call schedule with other technicians covering the territory during non‑business hours. They maintain and clean the equipment, vehicles, and facility following procedures and making the equipment patient‑ready.
Qualifications
- MA, EMT, LPN, or equivalent training and experience
- Current Michigan motor vehicle license and able to drive to deliver equipment to patients’ homes
Additional Information
Munson Healthcare requires all employees to be vaccinated or have lab‑confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
